Does anyone have any clues as to what this is? – I found it stuck in the mud in Eirias Park, Colwyn Bay, while we were walking the dog. Haven’t got any idea what it is.
Yes I do still pick things up that I find, I can’t help myself.

Another boring day today, took the car for it’s MOT the other day and had to go back for a retest today but came out with the correct piece of paper this time, complete with nice new tyres.
The picture is the MOT station ceiling through the rain on the car windscreen.

Took a trip back to Liverpool Hospital, a check up for Paul with his consultant – he was given a glowing report, and apart from a check on his pacemaker in a few weeks told to come back in 6 months.
I will not miss the travelling to Liverpool, we had to go via the tunnel today because of roadworks – I HATE tunnels, but this is my favourite bit, when I can see the daylight at the other end.

I’ve been messing about in the garden, with some filters on the lens, they made the dandelions look a bit better anyway. (Maybe I should try and find some time for the weeding soon)

Dark clouds over Glan Conwy, I love the colour in this picture the sun just managed to peep out through the clouds.

Not a very exciting day today – a trip to the council offices at Bodlondeb in Conwy to pay council tax, but it is the prettiest place I’ve ever paid my council tax.

Sunset in Old Colwyn, one taken before the bridge and one looking back at the bridge through the wing mirror.

It got a little boring today, hanging around the garage waiting for petrol to siphon out and then working out why the car still wouldn’t start. Anyway I found lots of things to take pictures of and keep me occupied.

Ooops, My Dad filled the tank of their diesel car right to the top with petrol, we spent a few hours in the garage figuring out how to siphon it all out.
I’m not sure that the spiders who live here are glad of the company though.

Well I was not going to bother voting but then I figured that if I didn’t, I wouldn’t have the right to moan about anything the government did for the next 4 years, no matter who gets in.

We got caught in a traffic jam today on the way home, it turned out to be a van on fire on the other carriageway. Frightening, it reminded me of the time my car went up in flames, packed with 4 children and all our new clothes ready to go on holiday. Thankfully no one was hurt, either today or ten years ago.

Just a trip to Mum and Dad’s house, but down the winding country lanes through the woods in Llandulas on the way.
Star Wars Day ?? – May the fourth be with you!

Bank holiday Monday and it’s not raining. We took a quick trip down to the promenade and the Fun day that is held every year on the May Bank Holiday. Thought I’d try and capture some of the colour of the occasion.

Remember that huge chestnut bud I showed you a few weeks ago, well it grew pretty quick in the last three weeks!
The first day of May brings Lily-Jane’s christening, we were not sure she would still fit in the “Family” christening robe as she is now 11 months old, but she is still quite petite and it fits, just.
The robe is the one that I and my four brothers and sisters, my children and most of their cousins have been christened in, it is still beautiful after being used for approximately 55 years.
